NET: Lloyd Jordano Wright

The concept behind my artwork was to capture a sense of serenity and freedom by depicting a cloud roaming around a mountain range.

The choice of a cloud as the central element was intentional. Clouds are often associated with tranquility, lightness, and a sense of ethereal beauty. By featuring a cloud, I aimed to convey a peaceful and dreamlike atmosphere in my artwork. The cloud serves as a symbol of freedom and boundless imagination, allowing viewers to escape from the constraints of reality and immerse themselves in a serene visual experience.

The mountain range was selected as the backdrop for several reasons. Mountains are majestic natural formations that often evoke feelings of awe and wonder. They represent stability, strength, and endurance. By juxtaposing the soft and fluid nature of the cloud with the solid and rigid structure of the mountains, I sought to create a harmonious balance between the ephemeral and the eternal.

In terms of technique, I chose to use p5.js Web editor to bring my vision to life. P5.js is a powerful JavaScript library that allows for the creation of interactive and dynamic visuals. Its user-friendly interface and extensive documentation made it an ideal tool for this project. I utilized p5.js to animate the cloud's movement, simulate the shifting of light and shadows on the mountains, and incorporate interactive elements such as user-controlled navigation or responsive design.

Through the combination of a serene cloud, majestic mountains, and interactive elements, my digital artwork aims to evoke a sense of calmness, inspire contemplation, and invite viewers to immerse themselves in a tranquil virtual environment. By using p5.js, I was able to create an engaging and interactive experience that encourages exploration and interaction, further enhancing the overall impact and enjoyment of the artwork.
